So many times when we travel, we take in the sights, the excitement, and the fun. Yet how often do we get to talk with the people that are accommodating and servicing our vacation experience? My stay with Carnival Breeze Cruise, this past summer. I immersed myself In getting to know the crew. Where their from, family, and life on and off the ship.
It was incredible and enlightening, many come from all over the globe, and their contracts are sometimes for 6 to 10 months on board, and most of them have a family waiting for them back home. Training and hiring on cruise ships is a long process. When they're on the ship they live by a schedule.
Making the passengers happy is the top priority. Think about that… Their job is to make your day exceptional. We are all Ambassadors when we travel from our homes. We are representing our hometown, our community, and our character. Our stories are like waves on the ocean we send them out and invite others back in.
The modern day cruising industry is reinventing itself by taking questions from its passengers. Their survey is passenger savvy with questions like how satisfied you are with your cruise and allows you to acknowledge the crew that tended to your every need. Please take the time to show your appreciation.
I will end with my humble admiration to the Captain and his crew, on Carnival Breeze. I take their beautiful stories home with us to share.
